There are some simple and easy rules of shipping oversized and overweight freight.  They are:

The shipper is subject to the availability of a specific type of truck,  local and state DOT regulations, and the weather.

In shipping an oversized or overweight load, any single piece that can be reduced down to smaller pieces must be dismantled and shipped separately.

The cost will be higher than shipping as regular flatbed freight.
