Terms
and Conditions:
- Dangerous
goods or hazardous materials require special packaging, marking,
labeling and documentation. These shipments must comply with
U. S. Department of Transportation regulations. The DOT requires
dangerous goods shippers to be properly trained. Penalties
could result in substantial fines and imprisonment. If you
would like further information, contact: http://hazmat.dot.gov
- All
rate quotations are subject to equipment availability, seasonal
road restrictions, and are effective for 30 days. Rates are
not applicable when dimensions or service requested is different
from that specified in this request.
- Shipeasy.com
reserves the right to deny credit terms to any person or company
whose credit history shows late or non-payment of debt, no
credit or limited credit experience, and/or our company’s
experience.
- Payment
terms are individually determined for each customer. You
will be notified prior to the shipment being picked up as
to when payment is due. If you have been granted credit terms
and they are not met, the freight charges are subject to a
service charge of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance.
- All
C.O.D. checks are to be made payable to Shipeasy or
Mountain Trail Industries, Inc., and not made payable
directly to the driver. If you do pay the driver, this does
not dissolve the debt to Shipeasy or Mountain Trail Industries,
Inc.
- Failure
to pay billed charges may result in a lien on future shipments
for freight charges, advances, storage, and related costs.
- We
reserve the right to demand full payment for the freight charges
prior to filing a claim for damages with the appropriate carrier.
According to the Federal Highway Administration (formerly
the Interstate Commerce Commission), each transaction involving
freight charges and claims should be handled separately and
on its own merits. A copy of the rules and regulations is
available upon request
